First visit

How to prepare?

First visit to a dietician

The first step on the path to health

Have you made an appointment with a dietitian for the first time and you don't know what awaits you? Below you will find useful information. Be sure to read before the meeting 😊
The initial visit with a dietician is a meeting lasting about 45-60 minutes and enabling the collection of all necessary data for further cooperation.

Before your first visit, please send me an e-mail:

1. blood test results, and if you do not have current tests, it is worth marking:

  • basic blood count;
  • lipidogram - total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides;
  • fasting glucose;
  • TSH;
  • liver tests (ALAT, AST);
  • iron and ferritin.

In addition, I encourage you to determine the concentration of vitamin D.

If you fail to perform the tests by the date of the appointment - you can come to the appointment without the results, and after they are done, send them to me by e-mail.

2. nutritional questionnaire (download file below);

3. a three-day food diary (download here).

Please keep a detailed record of all meals you eat, the products included in the meal and their measures, the liquids you drink, snacks and write down information about your well-being. If you experience undesirable symptoms (bloating, constipation, diarrhea) - also write about it. Also note what time you go to bed and what time you wake up.

Remember!The more accurately you complete the diary, the better I can help you correct your eating habits. I will not judge you if the products entered are not the healthiest. Do not be afraid. 🙂

Food diary and questionnaire

Immediately before the visit:
  • The day before the test, limit the consumption of caffeinated beverages (e.g. coffee, strong tea) and eliminate alcohol;
  • Do not eat or drink 2-3 hours before the visit;
  • Before the examination, use the toilet;
  • The day before the analysis, do not do intensive training;
  • Do not use hand cream before the analysis.

The above factors may affect the result of body composition analysis. Follow the instructions to ensure reliable results.
